S. John LeNoir, Esq. is the founder and senior member of the LeNoir Law Firm. Mr. LeNoir received his law degree from New York University School of Law. He also received a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Both the law school and the business school are ranked among the top 10 in the nation.
Since 1995 Mr. LeNoir has litigated cases in practically all of the state and federal courts in New York City and most courts in surrounding counties. Mr. LeNoir is recognized as one of New York’s premier debtor representation attorneys.
The LeNoir Law Firm performed numerous bankruptcies before the bankruptcy laws were changed in 2005. After the laws changed, Mr. LeNoir concluded that bankruptcy was no longer a desirable option for most clients and the firm stopped performing bankruptcies.
In recent years the LeNoir Law Firm has handled most matters in the state and federal courts of New York. The firm brings legal action against debt collectors, collection attorneys, and the three national credit bureaus for violations of powerful federal and state consumer protection laws.
